The Trübenensee is located in the municipality of Guttannen at 2365 m. ü. M. above the Grimselsee and has a volume of 1.1 million m 3 .

use

The water of the Trübenensee is absorbed by a water intake and used by the Grimsel 1, Handeck 2, Handeck 3 and Innertkirchen 1 electricity companies. The Trübrtensee is the highest lake used by the Oberhasli power plant.
