Tracy Wright

Tracy Wright (born December 7, 1959 in Toronto , † June 22, 2010 ) was a Canadian actress .

Life

Wright worked primarily as a stage actress and so with many greats of the Canadian theater. At the beginning of her career she was a member of the experimental Augusta Company with her long-time partner and (since 2008) husband Don McKellar and Daniel Brooks , thereby establishing her reputation as an institution of progressive theater in her hometown.

Her first film and television appearances were in 1991; since then she has played nearly 40 roles. In 2005 she won the Chlotrudis Award for Me and You and Everyone We Know as part of the acting ensemble . Her last role was that of Vic in Trigger . Wright died of pancreatic cancer at the age of 50 .
