The Traleika Glacier is a 13 km long valley glacier and right tributary glacier of the Muldrow Glacier on the northwest flank of the Alaska range in Alaska (USA). The glacier was named by Bradford Washburn around 1945 .
geography
The glacier is located in Denali National Park on the eastern flank of the Denali massif. The main Denali summit is drained to the east via the Thayer Basin and the Traleika Icefall to the western source glacier of the Traleika glacier. The Traleika Glacier flows in a north-easterly direction and flows into the Muldrow Glacier at an altitude of 1750 m . The mean glacier width is 1.9 km.
