history

Transinvest Holding was founded in 1983. Their actual expansion into an internationally widely branched group began in the early 1990s with the political and economic opening of Eastern Europe .

The core of the group is M&M Militzer & Münch International Holding AG , which has also been based in St. Gallen since 1986 . This specialized in forwarding and logistics services in the movement of goods from and to the east. Under the influence of Yousef Sherkati, a specialist in the forwarding and logistics sector who came from an Iranian entrepreneurial family, who became a member of the board of directors of M&M Militzer & Münch International Holding from 1989 and managing director of the M&M Group from 1994, M&M took off practically all over Eastern Europe and became independent states of the former Soviet Union with their own subsidiaries started the movement of goods between Central Europe and the newly opened countries in the east. M & M's international expansion culminated in 2001 when it was integrated into the Transinvest Group, of which Sherkati was one of the main owners.

In addition to M&M Militzer & Münch, numerous other companies have been integrated into the Transinvest Group over the years and new subsidiaries have been founded. Associated with this was an expansion of the business activities originally established in transport and logistics to other related areas.
