Transport Fever is the second computer game from the Swiss game developer Urban Games in Schaffhausen . The business simulation was published on November 8, 2016 for Windows, macOS and Linux. The game is the successor to Train Fever (2014) and is based heavily on its concepts, as well as on those of the game Transport Tycoon (1994).

Gameplay

Like Train Fever, Transport Fever is a traffic simulation. On a randomly generated map, cities must be connected by bus, train, ship or plane and people and goods must be transported. Inner-city traffic is also possible by bus and tram. The player starts in 1850 (or later if desired) and continues to play into the future. Little by little, new and better transport vehicles will be activated until 2014. The player plays either in a European or US setting. The game supports custom mods. A workshop is available on Steam for this purpose, from which mods and maps can be downloaded. Workshop-external mods can also be installed in the game directory.

In addition to the free game, there are also campaigns for Europe and the USA, in which seven missions each have to be completed.
