Travel Sick is a British television series that is a mix of comedy and travel programs . It ran from 2001 to 2002 on the British television station Bravo . The journalist and presenter Grub Smith was exposed in a different region of the world in each episode. At each location he was given five tasks by the producers of the television show. If he did not pass this, at the end of the program he was asked to do something that was unpleasant for him. The more tasks he failed, the worse the penalty became at the end of the show. A Flash computer game was producedin 2001 to promote the television series.
In the United States, the television series was broadcast on Comedy Central and in Germany from 2004 to 2005 on VIVA .
A German adaptation of the television series was the television series Elton travels , which was broadcast on Pro Sieben .
