The Trenkwalder Personnel Services GmbH , based in T-Center in the 3rd district is a staffing company and a subsidiary of Trenkwalder Group AG.
history
The name of the company goes back to the company's founder Richard Trenkwalder . In March 1985 Richard Trenkwalder started as a sole proprietorship with a technical office in Schwadorf, Lower Austria . In the course of his stays abroad he got to know the business field of "personnel provision" established in Holland, England and Scandinavia. At that time, this industry was still fairly unknown in Austria.
In 1988 Trenkwalder got the license for temporary employment . The foundation stone for the later Trenkwalder Personaldienste GmbH and Trenkwalder International AG was laid. The company grew and in just a few years became the largest provider of temporary workers in Austria. In 1992 Trenkwalder opened its first foreign branch in Slovakia. In 1999 the company entered the market in Germany, Hungary, 2000 in Italy and the Czech Republic, 2001 in Slovenia, 2003 in Croatia, 2005 in Poland, Romania, Serbia, 2006 in Liechtenstein, Switzerland, 2007 market entry in Turkey, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Bosnia-Herzegovina , Macedonia and in 2008 in Albania, Greece.
In 2007 Trenkwalder Personaldienste AG became Trenkwalder International AG and Trenkwalder Personaldienste GmbH. In 2011, the group achieved a turnover of 1 billion euros with around 70,000 employees. Trenkwalder is represented in the market with more than 300 locations in Austria, Germany, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Bosnia, Romania, Poland, Bulgaria, Turkey, Greece, Albania, Liechtenstein and Switzerland.
At the end of April 2011, the Droege International Group from Düsseldorf announced that it had taken over the majority in Trenkwalder International AG. Richard Trenkwalder withdrew from the operative business. The Trenkwalder Foundation remains as a minority owner.
At the beginning of 2019 Trenkwalder relocated its headquarters from Schwadorf in Lower Austria to the T-Center in Vienna's 3rd district.
Trenkwalder has repeatedly been recognized as Best Recruiter for its recruiting quality in recent years. In 2012/13, 2013/14, 2014/15, 2017/2018 and 2018/2019 the company was awarded the golden Best Recruiting seal and in 2015/16, 2016/2017 with the silver Best Recruiting seal.

Trenkwalder Personaldienste GmbH, headquartered in Vienna, has 35 locations in Austria. Trenkwalder thus has the densest branch network in Austria. The company is the market leader in personnel services and a subsidiary of the internationally active Trenkwalder Group.
Trenkwalder Academy
The Trenkwalder Academy was launched in 1999 as the centerpiece of personnel development, in which every employee undergoes training that is tailored to the requirements of their area of responsibility. The employees complete the basic training of the Trenkwalder Academy with a diploma examination. In 2005 the first management course started at the private university Hohe Warte Vienna, which was specially tailored to executives of the Trenkwalder organization. An MBA course with a focus on sales management was developed together with Linnert.
In 2008 Trenkwalder developed the "Academic Personnel Service Provider" course together with the Krems University for Continuing Education . As part of this part-time university training with a diploma, all relevant qualifications of a personnel service provider are taught. In 2010, the postgraduate master’s degree started with an MSc in “Professional Workforce Management”.
Services
At Trenkwalder, personnel consulting and temporary work work hand in hand. This should open up more prospects for companies and more opportunities for applicants. In addition to “classic temporary work”, the range of services offered by temporary work also includes the services “temporary work with takeover”, “on-site management” and “master vendoring”. In addition to personnel consulting, Trenkwalder offers its customers know-how in the areas of “competence management”, “managed services”, “market expansion services” and “project management” as well as “advertisement service”, “applicant management”, “testing” and “direct approach” to optimize the application process.
