The Tresfjord Bridge ( Norwegian : Tresfjordbrua ) is a bridge in the Norwegian municipality of Vestnes in the province of Møre og Romsdal .

The bridge spans as part of the E 136 between Ålesund and Åndalsnes the Tresfjord from located on the western shore location Remmem to located on the east side Vikebukt .

Construction of the 1290-meter-long bridge and an approximately 800-meter-long dam began in December 2012 and lasted until 2015. With the construction, the distance between Ålesund and Åndalsnes was reduced by 13 kilometers. The construction, at a cost of € 75 million, was commissioned by the Norwegian road construction administration Statens Vegvesen . The German company F + Z Baugesellschaft was commissioned with the foundation work.

In the fjord, which is up to 40 meters deep, 13 bridge piers were built for the bridge at a distance of up to 60 meters. The bridge rises up to 32 meters above the water level. The opening took place on October 24, 2015 in the presence of the Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg , who represented the prevented Transport Minister Ketil Solvik-Olsen .
