Tretter-Schuhe is a Munich-based shoe trading company with over 30 branches in Munich and the surrounding area, in Regensburg , Augsburg , Landshut , Straubing and Schierling , including the branches of Thomas and Bartu shoes.

history

In 1947 Josef Tretter opened his first shoe store in Munich together with his wife Anny. Further branches followed, in 1956 the first house under the Thomas brand , named after the son of the couple, who was born in 1953, of the couple who founded the company. Further openings of both brands followed - Tretter and Thomas - in and around Munich.

In 1988 Bartu shoes took over . In the same year Thomas Tretter joined the company as an authorized signatory and took over management in 1990. Thomas Tretter's sons, Gregor and Luca Tretter, have been part of the management team since 2015.

In 2016, Tretter activated its online shop , and in the same year Tretter opened its 31st branch. Currently (as of summer 2020) Tretter operates 28 branches in Munich and three in the surrounding area.
