Loyalty Medal (Romania)
The Loyalty Medal was donated on April 9, 1878 by Prince Carol I of Romania as an award of merit in two classes. By decree by King Carol II took place on March 7, 1932 the foundation of the III. Class. At the same time, the number of domestic owners of the individual classes was limited.

- 2nd class - 6000 holders

Order decoration
The medal is a round medal made of bronze , the first class being gold-plated and the second class being silver-plated . It shows in the middle the coat of arms of the prince or royal house, which is surmounted by a crown, which is flanked on the left and right by two standing lions facing the coat of arms . On the reverse, enclosed by a wreath made from oak (left) and bay leaves , the two-line inscription SERVICIU CREDINCIOS (Loyalty Services).
A crown is attached between the medal and the ring. At an award ceremony for military merits, the medal was provided with two crossed swords between the medal and the crown.
Carrying method
The medal was worn on a light blue ribbon with a yellow central stripe on the left chest until 1932. From 1932, the award was given on a light blue ribbon with a yellow central and a silver edge strip.
Others
During the Second World War from 1941 to 1944, the Loyalty Medal with Swords was also awarded to members of the German armed forces .
