Trezzini
Trezzini is the name of an Italian-speaking noble family from Astano in the Swiss canton of Ticino . Several architects emerged from it, whose buildings are particularly noteworthy in Russia in the 18th century. However, the identity of some members of the family has not yet been clearly established.

Domenico Andrea Trezzini (1670–1734) was the first architect from Ticino to settle in Russia and tocreate outstanding baroque buildings
in St. Petersburg under Tsar Peter I.
- Pietro Antonio Trezzini (1710, Astano - 1734, Astano) was one of Domenico Trezzini's sons.
- Matteo Trezzini (after 1710 - after 1750) was another son of Domenico Trezzini.
- Carlo Giuseppe Trezzini (1697, Astano - 1768, Saint Petersburg) was the son-in-law of Domenico Trezzini and married to his daughter Maria Lucia Tomasina Trezzini.
- Pietro Antonio Trezzini (1692 - before 1770), also an architect, worked with Domenico Trezzini in St. Petersburg and is related to him.
- Giuseppe Trezzini (* 1832 in Astano; † 1885 in Lugano ) was also an architect in Saint Petersburg.
