The Triangle Point (English for triangle point ) is a headland on the southwest coast of Greenwich Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is 2.5 km northwest of Spit Point and protrudes into McFarlane Strait .
Scientists from the British Discovery Investigations mapped it in 1935 and gave it its descriptive name.
