Triberga

Triberga is a village belonging to the municipality of Mörbylånga on the Swedish island of Öland in the Baltic Sea .

The village with fewer than 50 inhabitants (as of 2005) is located along the eastern coastal road in the southeast of the island. In the north, Alby joins Hulterstad in the south .

The village lies on the eastern edge of the barren Alvar landscape of the Stora Alvaret . To the north is the Triberga-Alby-mosse bog . From Triberga you can also reach the prehistoric castle Triberga borg , located about a kilometer further west in Stora Alvaret . In Triberga and the surrounding area there are also the typical Öland windmills.
