The building with the postal address Tribseer Straße 12 is a listed building on Tribseer Straße in Stralsund .

The two-story brick building was built in 1860 according to plans by Ernst von Haselberg .

The two northern narrow sides of the building are in line with Tribseer Straße. The windowless front sides are characterized by stepped pillar gables. The long sides of the two wings as well as the intermediate building have large segment-arched windows to the two courtyards formed by the H-shaped floor plan of the building.

The facade is designed in the neo-Gothic style. Glazed tracery friezes running between the storeys and under the eaves are decorative elements ; tracery is also designed on the wall template that takes up the ogival passage. Polygonal pillars with pointed helmets stand between the stepped, diamond-decorated panels of the northern side gable facing Tribseer Straße .

The house is located in the core area of ​​the city ​​area recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site of the “ historic old towns of Stralsund and Wismar ”. It is entered in the list of architectural monuments in Stralsund with the number 749.

The building was initially used as a primary school. It was later incorporated into the Ernst Moritz Arndt School in Mönchstrasse .
