The building with the postal address Tribseer Straße 1 is a listed building on Tribseer Straße in Stralsund .

The four-storey , free-standing brick building with a high pitched roof was built in 1927 according to plans by the architect Grantz.

Four polygonal towers with pointed helmets flank the two long sides of the building. At the front facing the square, a single-storey porch with a round-arched portal niche is inserted between the two towers .

The building originally served as a branch of the Reichsbank ; the new building was erected because the old building on Badenstrasse was no longer sufficient. The users switched; the Reichsbank was followed by the German Central Bank , the State Bank of the GDR and the Deutsche Bank .

The house is located in the core area of ​​the city ​​area recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site of the “ historic old towns of Stralsund and Wismar ”. It is entered in the list of architectural monuments in Stralsund with the number 744.
