Acquired by real estate mogul Sam Zell at the beginning of 2008, the group collapsed after a year under its enormous debt burden and went to the state-monitored Way out of bankruptcy. After numerous scandals and cases of mismanagement as well as the spin-off of the newspaper division, Tribune has stabilized again. "
