Triebenbach is a district of the city of Laufen in the Berchtesgadener Land district in Bavaria . Until it was incorporated in 1970, Triebenbach was an independent municipality in what was then the district of Laufen .
Districts
Places of the only 3.8 km² large community were Triebenbach, Abfalter, Birnau, Daxmühle, Heiningermühle, Mayerhofen, Niedervillern and Sturz.
history
Grave finds from the Bronze Age indicate that the municipality was settled in prehistoric times , but these were destroyed by grave robbers in December 2016. With the award of the bailiwick to the Kuchler family in 1345, the time of independent lower jurisdiction , which lasted until 1824, and the Hofmark Triebenbach began. In 1355 the right to build a castle followed, which over time was expanded into today 's Triebenbach Castle .
The former municipal area was particularly stressed by the frequent flooding of the Salzach and Sur , the mouth of which is near Triebenbach.
Until 1970 Triebenbach was a municipality in what was then the district of Laufen . In 1970 it was incorporated into the city of Laufen.
