Trigon is one of the most famous jazz bands from Moldova . The trio around violinist Anatol Ștefăneț (pronounced: 'Schtefänietz') was founded in 1992 and has since released several albums. The line-up has changed again and again around Ștefăneț, so that Trigon now consists of four musicians. The ethno-jazz band has made a name for itself internationally, including appearances at the Hamburg Jazz Festival 1998 and the Novi Sad Old Gold Jazz Festival 2001, as well as on several tours.
