The Trinity Church in Wewelsfleth is a church built around 1500 .

history

The church was completed in 1503 and an extension was added in 1592. The first bell tower was almost 60 m high, but collapsed in 1648 due to a storm . The current tower dates from 1817 and is 29 m high. In 1883 and 1964 the church was restored; the wooden tower was last used in 1993/94.

The St. Nicolai Church in Beidenfleth also belongs to today's Evangelical Lutheran parish of Wewelsfleth .

organ

The organ was built in 1866 by the organ builder Marcussen & Søn (Denmark). The slider chests -instrument has 13 registers on two manuals and pedal . The playing and stop actions are mechanical.
