description

Trinity Duke Street Church is located on Duke Street in the eastern Dennistoun district of Glasgow . As is typical for buildings of the United Presbyterian Church of Scotland, it is designed in the style of Greek classicism . The masonry consists of polished stone blocks. The portico on the north-facing front facade shows two colossal Corinthian columns. Colossal pilasters flank the area. The facade closes with a triangular gable with antefixes , the tympanum of which , like the frieze running below, is richly ornamented. The final gable roof is covered with slate.
