Tripura conflict

The Tripura conflict is an armed conflict in the Indian state of Tripura .

It is an uprising by the National Liberation Front of Tripura and the All Tripura Tiger Force . Tripuras are economically disadvantaged.

The NLFT strives for the independence of Tripura. It was founded in 1989 . It claims to be against capitalism . The ATTF was founded in 1990 . The NLFT and the ATTF are directed against each other. The ATTF consists mainly of Debbarma .

There have been killings of local CPI-M leaders by the NFLT. It is said that Baptist churches are helping her. Rebels have forced tribal women to appear in pornographic films.
