Tristan Valentin (born February 23, 1982 in Le Blanc-Mesnil ) is a former French cyclist .

Career

Tristan Valentin began his career in 2003 with the small French team Auber 93 , which took part in the UCI Europe Tour as a Continental team in the 2005 season . Valentin won the French one-day race Tro-Bro Léon .

For the season he switched to the French ProTeam Cofidis , where he ended his career after the 2013 season. For this team he finished the Giro d'Italia 2007 in 132nd place and the Tour de France in 2011 in 118th place.

In 2006, Valentin was suspended for six months after a positive doping test for the stimulant heptaminol . The heptaminol was part of a venous drug prescribed to Valentin by the doctor.
