1974 Hello Josephine

Truck Stop is the debut album of the German country band of the same name and was released in 1973 via Telefunken .

background

The album was produced in 1973 in the Maschen studio ( Harburg district ) by Joe Menke (including Les Humphries Singers ). In the period that followed, the studio developed into a permanent contact point for the band.

In contrast to the group's later albums, the album consists exclusively of English-language songs, mostly cover songs of well-known rock & roll and country songs. With Dorraine and Please Let Me Know, there are also two original compositions by Cisco Berndt on the album.

Hello Josephine (originally by Fats Domino ) was released as a single in 1974 . The B-side was Orange Blossom Special (originally by Johnny Cash ).
