True is a Swiss music duo from Zurich and Bern , it is attributed to the electro-pop and R&B . Her label Mouthwatering Records describes the band's style as "Future R&B".

history

True was founded in 2013. The trained jazz musicians Daniela Sarda (keyboard, vocals) and Rico Baumann (drums, sampler), according to their own account, met each other first via a dating platform and later in a disco in Amsterdam and make up the cast of True.

In the summer of 2016, the two pre-singles Hold It Back and Holiday Tickets were released. True worked on their first album for about a year, which was recorded in Bern, Zurich and New York. Some of the music was written and produced in New York. The album Wrapped in Air was released in September 2016.

True has been performing live as a trio since the end of 2016, expanded to include bassist Martina Berther from Chur.

The Swiss Radio and Television has named the first album Wrapped in air among the best 16 Swiss albums from the year 2016. The duo is known beyond the borders of Switzerland, also BBC Radio 1 , the duo had already in the program.
