True Symphonic Rockestra is a musical project with singer James LaBrie from Dream Theater . He is accompanied by tenors Vladimir Grishko and Thomas Dewald .

The idea behind the album was to bring three world-class singers together to perform rock versions from the repertoire of the three tenors ( Luciano Pavarotti , Plácido Domingo and Jose Carreras ) in order to combine heavy metal with operatic elements. This idea was realized in July 2006 with the recording of the first album.

This first and so far only album, Concerto in True Minor , was released on March 28, 2008 under a new label, a cooperation between Brainrox Records from Germany and Marinsound Records from Russia . Sony BMG takes over the distribution in Germany, Austria and Switzerland .
