The Tryne Fjord ( Norwegian Trynefjorden , literally translated: Schnauzenförde ) is an irregularly shaped fjord on the Ingrid Christensen coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth Land . It is located on the northern flank of the Langnes Peninsula in the Vestfold Mountains .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named it, mapped it using aerial photos taken during the Lars Christensen expedition in 1936/37 .
