Before the Nobility Repeal Act, it was also used as a title of nobility , von Tschabuschnig . Most of the name bearers come from a Carinthian family who was elevated to the rank of imperial knighthood in 1715. The name Tschabuschnig occurs mainly in the Villach region . The frequency of names in Vienna , Weiz and Knittelfeld is of minor importance . The name is not represented in other parts of Austria.
