The Tschapoma ( Russian Чапома ) is a 113 km long river in the southeast of the Kola Peninsula in the Murmansk Oblast in Russia .

It has a catchment area of 1110 km² and an average discharge of 12.4 m³ / s. The river reaches significantly higher discharge volumes due to the snowmelt in the months of May and June. The river has its source about 80 km from the White Sea coast in the interior of the Kola Peninsula. It flows mainly in a south-southeast direction and flows into the White Sea at the settlement of the same name .

The Tschapoma is visited in summer by fishing tourists who catch salmon , sea trout and brown trout here .
