The Chernomen Glacier ( Bulgarian ледник Черномен lednik Tschernomen ) is a 5.6 km long and 2.2 km wide glacier on the Barison Peninsula on the Graham Coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It flows south-south-west of the Butamja Glacier and west -south - west of the Talew Glacier in a north-westerly direction to Leroux Bay , which it reaches southeast of Eijkman Point .
British scientists mapped it in 1971. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2010 after the town of Chernomen in southern Bulgaria .
