Tsukuyomi - Moon Phase ( jap. 月詠 moon PHASE) is a manga by Keitaro Arima , also known as anime - television series was implemented. The main character Hazuki is a young vampire girl with a penchant for the Lolita style.

action

Morioka Kōhei wants to become a photographer, but he is unlucky enough to see ghosts in his photos. One day he visits an old castle in Germany , more precisely in the Black Forest , on behalf of the “Magazine for Supernatural” . His job is to take photos of supernatural events. Although he cannot see them himself, you can see them in his photos afterwards. One night he sees a vampire girl there. When he photographs her, he then realizes that she does not appear in the photo, which is why he decides to see her again. So he goes back to the castle and tries to get into it. However, he is the only one who can get into the castle, because it is protected by an invisible magical barrier that does not let anyone in or out. He can penetrate them because he is insensitive to magical and spiritual things. In the castle he then meets the vampire girl again. She calls him onii-sama (venerated older brother) and introduces herself by the name Hazuki. She is originally from Japan, but she doesn't want to tell you what she is doing in Germany. He finds out that Hazuki is being held in this castle against her will. She tries to make Kōhei her servant by sucking his blood. He should then destroy the object that is holding them in the lock. Although Kohei is immune to the vampire curse, he helps her escape. Hazuki successfully escapes from the castle and leaves it in the direction of Japan to look for her mother there.

When she arrives in Japan , she goes to Kōhei's house, where he lives with his grandfather. This allows Hazuki to live with them. Because of his own childhood experiences, Kōhei Hazuki decides to help with her task.

However, other vampires, such as Elfriede and Count Kinkell, try to bring Hazuki back from Japan. They will stop at nothing.

Characters

Hazuki ( 葉 月 ) is a young vampire girl. She's pretty naive, but that's what makes her so lovable. It possesses the ability to perform mind control by looking into a person's eyes. So give the person an order, which they then carry out willlessly. She also has a second personality named Luna, which only appears when the moon is full. Luna is a serious and dark character who is in contrast to Hazuki's cheerful nature.

Kōhei Morioka ( 森丘 耕 平 ) is a photographer who photographs ghosts and souls for a magazine about the supernatural. He is quite insensitive to supernatural things, which makes him almost invulnerable to it. He is also immune to Hazuki's mind control. He lives with his grandfather.

Hiromi Anzai ( 安西 裕美 ) works for Kōhei at a magazine for supernatural things. She is quite young, attractive, and seemingly developing feelings for Seiji Midō.

Ryūhei Midō ( 御堂 竜 平 ) is the grandfather of Kōhei and a powerful spirit inquirer. He lives with Kōhei and Hazuki and runs an antique shop. He later developed a close relationship with Elfride.

Elfriede ( エ ル フ リ ー デ , Erufurīde ) is also a vampire like Hazuki. She was sent out to get Hazuki to go back to the castle from which she escaped. She is a servant to Count Kinkell.

Heidi ( ハ イ ジ , Haiji ) is the protective spirit of Hazuki. She is only about the size of a doll and can transform into a normal cat.

Kinkell ( キ ン ケ ル , Kinkeru ) is a vampire count who has the order to bring Hazuki back to the castle.

Hikaru Midō ( 御堂 光 ) is the cousin of Kōhei and engaged to Seiji. She constantly tries to help her sister Kaoru to get more attention from her fiancé Kōhei. So she doesn't get along well with Hazuki either. However, their relationship improves as the story progresses. Since she belongs to the Midō clan, she received a priestly training and corresponding magical skills.

Kaoru Midō ( 御堂 薫 ) is the twin sister of Hikaru and fiancee of Kōhei. She is sensitive and very quiet, which is why Kōhei hardly pays her any attention. However, with the help of her sister, she tries to get his attention again and again. Like her sister, she has magical abilities.

Seiji Midō ( 御堂 成 児 ) is also an employee of Kōhei and Hiromi. He has skills in dealing with supernatural and spiritual forces. He is also resistant to the charm of Hazuki, so she cannot control him with her mind control.

Art does not appear until later in the story. She is Hazuki's little half-sister. Her full name is Artemis. She hates Hazuki because she got her father's attention and made Art lonely.
