Hiroshi Kamiya ( Japanese 神 谷 浩 史 Kamiya Hiroshi , born January 28, 1975 in Matsudo , Chiba Prefecture ), also known as HiroC or Kamiyan , is a Japanese voice actor ( seiyū ) and singer . He is under contract with the Aoni Production agency.

Kamiya gained notoriety in anime roles such as Yūta Takemoto from Honey and Clover (2005), Nozomu Itoshiki in Sayonara Zetsubō Sensei (2007) and Tieria Earth in Mobile Suit Gundam 00 (2007-2008). Kamiya later appeared in other well-known roles such as Kō Ichinomiya from Arakawa under the Bridge , Levi from Attack on Titan , Yato from Noragami , Izaya Orihara from Durarara !! , Seijūrō Akashi from Kuroko no Basuke , Koyomi Araragi from the Monogatari series , Trafalgar Law from One Piece , Choromatsu Matsuno from Osomatsu-san and Hiroomi Sōma from Working !!

In addition to anime, Kamiya also performs his voice acting for video games such as Final Fantasy X , Shin Megami Tensei IV and Castlevania: Lament of Innocence .

Awards

For his voice acting in the aforementioned anime Mobile Suit Gundam 00 and Sayonara Zetsubō Sensei , Kamiya was awarded the 2008 Seiyu Award in the “Best Supporting Actor” category. The following year he received the Seiyu Award for Best Actor for his role as Takashi Natsume in Natsume Yūjinchō / Pact of Yokai . In addition, Kamiya received an award for its radio broadcasts in the “Personality” category at the 3rd Seiyu Awards . From 2012 to 2016, the Seiyu Awards also featured an audience award (“Most Votes” category), which Kamiya won every time, after which he was accepted into the “Hall of Fame” of the Seiyu Awards. Kamiya has also always topped the annual popularity ranking of the Japanese website Charapedia.

Musician

With fellow voice actor Daisuke Ono , Kamiya hosts a radio show called Dear Girl Stories . Both in cooperation with u. a. Ono (under the name "Masochistic Ono Band" / "MOB") as well as solo, Kamiya is also active as a pop musician and has published numerous songs and given concerts. He's also directed theme songs on anime like Osomatsu-san , Prison School and Working !! and created character songs for many of his roles, which were released as singles or albums.
