content
The plot revolves around the sextuplets of the Matsuno family ( 松 野 ). While the earlier series was about their childhood as a ten year old, they are now 20 years old, but all unemployed and rarely seriously looking for a job. So they still live with their parents Matsuzō ( 松 造 ) and Matsuyo ( 松 代 ). The “oldest”, Osomatsu ( お そ 松 , from お 粗 末 , Japanese for “coarse”), still sometimes plays the leader of the six siblings. Karamatsu ( カ ラ 松 , from 唐松 , Japanese for larch ) considers himself particularly cool and flirts with most of the women he meets. The wise Choromatsu ( チ ョ ロ 松 , from ち ょ ろ い , Japanese for "child's play") is often the voice of reason and tries to keep others from stupid ideas. Ichimatsu ( 一 松 , from 市 松 模 様 , Japanese for checkerboard pattern ) prefers to withdraw, is shy of contact and likes cats; the fifth brother Jūshimatsu ( 十四 松 , from 十姉妹 , Japanese for Japanese seagull ) is always exuberant and happy, but also the dumbest of the six. The carefree Todomatsu ( ト ド 松 , from 椴 松 , Japanese for Sakhalin fir ) is the “youngest” of the six. In their neighborhood the intrusive and malicious Iyami, who always claimed to live to come from France, the little Chibita, one Oden operates booth, the rich Hatabō with a stuck in the head flag, the thick tierliebe Dekapan who always just a huge striped Wearing trousers, and the voracious Dayōn, who has a huge mouth. Totoko also lives in the neighborhood, the daughter of fish traders, with whom the sextuplets are in love and about whom they fight. She also tries several times to start a career as a Japanese idol with the help of the brothers .
