Tsunetami Fukuda

Tsunetami Fukuda ( Japanese 福田 恒 民 , Fukuda Tsunetami ; * around 1940) is a Japanese jazz trombonist from Dixieland .

Tsunetami Fukuda played in the early 1960s with Muneyoshi Nishiyo and Blacksmith and His Boys, with which the first recordings were made ( Original Dixieland Sound Vol. 1 ). As a member of the New Orleans Rascals, he participated in the recordings of George Lewis in Japan and toured the United States; in 1966 the New Orleans Rascals performed with Kid Sheik Cola , Jim Robinson , Big Bill Bissonnette and Sammy Rimington . He was a member of the New Orleans Rascals until the early 2010s ; He also recorded with Akira Tsumura / Don Ewell , Yoshio Toyama and Keith Smith and The Magnolia All Star Band . In the field of jazz, Tom Lord lists him in 103 recording sessions between 1962 and 2000.
