Tsuyoshi Furukawa ( Japanese 古 川 毅 , Furukawa Tsuyoshi ; born September 21, 1972 in Aomori Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Furukawa learned to play soccer on the school team at Gonohe High School and the university team at Sendai University . He signed his first contract with Otsuka Pharmaceutical in 1995 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the Japan Football League . For the club he completed 58 games. In 1997 he moved to the league competitor Consadole Sapporo . In 1997 he was with the club master of the Japan Football League and rose to the J1 League . At the end of the 1998 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League . In 2000 he became champions of the J2 League with the club and rose again to the J1 League. For the club he completed 119 games. In 2003 he moved to the second division Montedio Yamagata . For the club he completed 61 games. At the end of 2004 he ended his career as a soccer player.
