Tsuyoshi Kodama ( Japanese 児 玉 剛 , Kodama Tsuyoshi ; born December 28, 1987 in Suita , Osaka Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Tsuyoshi Kodama learned to play football in the youth team of Kyōto Sanga and the university team of Kansai University . He signed his first contract in 2010 with Kyōto Sanga. The club from Kyōto , a city in the southwest of the Japanese main island Honshū , played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . At the end of 2010, he had to start the path to the second division with the club. After he was not used in Kyoto, he moved to league rivals Ehime FC in Matsuyama in 2014. By 2016, he was in goal for the club 124 times. In 2017 he signed a contract with Montedio Yamagata, who also played in the second division . With the club from Yamagata prefecture , he played 56 times in the J2. In 2019 he went to the first division club FC Tokyo . So far, he has not been used in the first division. Six times he was in the goal of the U23 team that played in the third division, the J3 League .
