In addition to the soccer department, there is a separate youth soccer area, which is the largest division in terms of members. There are also athletics, gymnastics and bounce ball departments.

history

The club was founded in August 1920 as the gymnastics club Jahn Hilfarth . After a soccer team joined the club in the late 1920s, the club took on its current name. In the 1930s, the footballers rose within eight years from the 3rd district class to the then second-class district class. After the end of the Second World War , the Jahn footballers played in the district class from 1947 and in 1950 made it to the state league , the highest amateur league on the Middle Rhine at the time. After only one year and 0: 9 defeats at Kohlscheider BC and Schwarz-Weiß Düren , it went back down to the district class, from where the direct rise again succeeded. In the second attempt, relegation was missed before a longer district class era followed. In 1958, the Hilfarther runners-up behind the second team from SV Baesweiler 09 , before the third promotion to the regional league followed two years later. But also the third attempt ended with the descent, which was followed by a sporty descent, which ended in 1970 with the descent into the 2nd district class. After two rises in a row, the club returned to the district class in 1972. Many years in the lower divisions followed. After the turn of the millennium, TuS Jahn Hilfarth played again briefly in the district league and the district leagues A and B. Since relegation in 2017, the club has played again in the district league B.

Track and field athlete Moritz Ringk was German youth champion in the block all-around competition in 2014 . This title represents the first German championship that TuS Jahn Hilfarth was able to win.

TuS Jahn Hilfarth has been the largest sports club in Hückelhoven since 2017. In the same year, a club house was inaugurated for the first time in the club's history.
