In den Kuhlen is a district of Halver in the Märkisches Kreis in the administrative district of Arnsberg in North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ).
Location and description
In den Kuhlen lies in western Halver on the city limits of Radevormwald and Wipperfürth . Neighboring places are In den Eicken , Auf der Bever , Büchenbaum , Hohenplanken and Schwenke , as well as the Radevormwalder places Obergraben and Untergraben and the Wipperfürth places Schwelmersiepen and Kahlenberg . The place can be reached via side streets of the county road K3 near Schwenke.
In the first third of the 20th century to the east of the village, a commercial enterprise was established on the K3 district road, which is now also part of the local area.

In the Kuhlen was first mentioned in a document in 1473, the origin of the settlement is believed to be between 1300 and 1400 following the second medieval clearing period. In the Kuhlen there is a split from Auf der Bever.
