Krause Buche is a district of Halver in the Märkisches Kreis in the administrative district of Arnsberg in North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ).

Location and description

Krause Buche is located at 440 meters above sea ​​level as the highest district of the city north of the main town on the L528 state road at the junction of a side road to Schalksmühle , which also connects Schöneberge and Streitstück . history

Krause beech was first mentioned in a document in 1900 and was probably created between 1800 and 1900 as a split from Rothenbruch.

Since the early Middle Ages (according to other information since prehistoric times) there was an important old road near Krause Buche , the trade , pilgrimage and military route between Hagen and Siegen , today's state road L528.
