Niederennepe is a court in Halver in the Märkisches Kreis in the administrative district of Arnsberg in North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ).

Location and description

Niederennepe is located west of the main town in Halver on the federal road 229 in the valley of the Ennepe . Neighboring places are Löhrmühle , Eichhofermühle , Schüreichhofen , Walde , Büchen , Büchermühle , Nonnenennepe and Schmalenbach .

history

Niederennepe was first mentioned in a document in 1410, but the time of origin of the settlement is assumed to be between 700 and 800 during the Saxon - Franconian border disputes.

In 1818 32 people lived in the village. In 1838 Niederennepe belonged to the Eickhöfer peasantry within the Halver mayor . The place, which was categorized as a courtyard according to the location and distance table of the government district of Arnsberg , had five houses and a factory or mill at that time. At that time, 36 residents lived in the village, four of them Catholic and 32 Protestant.
