Location of Schlade in Halver

Schlade is a court in Halver in the Märkisches Kreis in the administrative district of Arnsberg in North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ).

Location and description

Schlade is located at 390 meters above sea level south of the main town in Halver in the source area of the Hönnige on the edge of the Bommert forest area. The place is located on an access road that branches off from the K3 district road between the nearby stop and Kierspe . Neighboring places are Sondern , Auf der Brake , Kückelhausen and Wöste .

history

Schlade was first mentioned in a document in 1443, but the time of origin of the settlement is presumed to be between 1300 and 1400 following the second medieval clearing period. Schlade was a split from Kückelhausen.

Around 1500 it is documented by documents that the Schlade farm was liable for taxes to the Bergisches Amt_Beyenburg . The jurisdiction of the court was subordinate to a Bergisch judge specially appointed for the Bergische Höfe in the otherwise Brandenburg- dominated parish of Halver, which often led to a dispute with the Brandenburg count actually responsible for the parish .

In 1818 ten residents lived in the village. In 1838 Schlade belonged to the Bommerter peasantry within the mayor's office of Halver . The place categorized as Kotten according to the place and distance table of the government district Arnsberg had a house, a factory or mill and an agricultural building at that time. At that time, eight people lived in the village, all of whom were Protestant.

The municipality encyclopedia for the province of Westphalia from 1887 gives a number of six residents who lived in a residential building.

An old road from Schwelm via Radevormwald to Wegerhof , which was used as an iron and coal road, ran north of Schlade along the route of today's state road L284 . For this reason, bundles of ravines and land weirs blocking the path can be found in the forest area of Bommert .
