Heerenfelde is a district of Halver in the Märkisches Kreis in the administrative district of Arnsberg in North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ).

Location and description

Heerenfelde is located in the north of Halver on the Glör stream between the courts of Streitstück and Magdheide, right on the city limits of Schalksmühle . The place can be reached via a subordinate side street.

history

Heerenfelde was first mentioned in a document in 1839, the time of origin of the settlement is assumed to be around 1819. The place is probably a split from the neighboring Magheide or Streitstück.

According to the locality and distance table of the government district of Arnsberg , the place was categorized under the name Heenfelde as Kotten and in 1838 had a population of four, all of whom were Protestant. At that time the place belonged to the Gloerfeld peasantry within the mayor's office of Halver and owned a house and a factory or mill.

The community encyclopedia for the province of Westphalia from 1887 gives a number of twelve residents who lived in a residential building for the place.
