Bommert is a court in Halver in the Märkisches Kreis in the North Rhine-Westphalian administrative district of Arnsberg in Germany .
Location and description
Bommert lies at an altitude of 366 meters above sea level in southern Halver near the city limits of Kierspe . South of the town rises to 383.2 meters above sea level of Muhlenberg, behind is the Kerspe dam . The Erlenbach , a tributary of the dam, flows through the Bommert, which is surrounded by agricultural land . Neighboring towns are Ober- and Niederbommert , Borkshof , Giersiepen , the Schanzmannsmühle and Schlachtenrade . The place can be reached via secondary roads that branch off from Kreisstraße 3 and Landesstraße 284.
The fire station of the Bommert volunteer fire brigade is located in the courtyard .

Bommert was first mentioned in a document in 1819 as Mittlere Bommert, the time of origin of the settlement is believed to be around 1800. Bommert is a split from Oberbommert.
