The Tuati Peak is a 2,595 m high mountain in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Royal Society Range it rises from the north face of the Mitchell Glacier at its head end.
The New Zealand Geographic Board named him in 1993 after the Maori name of the sailor John Sac, son of the Scottish cartographer William Stewart , who aboard the sloop USS Vincennes in the United States Exploring Expedition (1838-1842) led by the US American Polar explorer Charles Wilkes was the first New Zealander to see the Antarctic mainland.
