Bettina Walter
Bettina Walter (born February 13, 1971 in Buchholz in the Nordheide ) is a German film producer, lecturer and managing director of the film production company BWP in Barcelona.
Life
Bettina Walter studied ethnology , Romance languages and Latin American studies in Hamburg , Buenos Aires and Málaga and specialized as a producer in the development and financing of documentary films for the international market. As head of studies, she developed “Campus Latino”, a training initiative for Latin American filmmakers and producers, in cooperation with the Documentary Campus and the Goethe Institute .
Walter advises several film festival juries and film funds. She is also a moderator and panelist and was a session producer for the Sheffield Doc / Fest from 2013 to 2016.
Since 2000 she has taught development, international financing and production of documentaries at various universities and film schools: at the Autonomous University of Barcelona , the University of Barcelona , Universidad Internacional de Cataluña, the Escola de Cinema de Barcelona and the Film Academy Baden-Württemberg .
