Kief Davidson

Kief Davidson (born May 12, 1970 in Brooklyn , New York City ) is an American filmmaker who was nominated at the 2013 Academy Awards for his work on Open Heart together with Cori Shepherd Stern for the Oscar in the category Best Documentary Short Film .

Born and raised in Brooklyn, Davidson began his career as an editor of comedy and music videos . He is the founder of the film and advertising company Urban Landscapes . Davidson lives and works in Los Angeles . Above all, the film Devil's Miner, released in 2005, brought him awards at various film festivals, for example at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2005 as Best New Documentary Filmmaker - Special Jury Mention .
