The tumulus on l'Île Beg Hamon is located west of the Sainte Marguerite peninsula (French: Presqu'ile Stainte-Marguerite ) and west of Landéda in the Finistère department in Brittany in France .

The tumulus was discovered by E. Morel, who left sketches of his investigation. Thanks to the latter, it is known that the condition of the monument has hardly changed since the 1920s. It is impossible to date the probably Neolithic small, approximately 13.0 m long and 7.0 m wide, low hill more precisely.

The presence of three plates to the south is the only visible evidence of a dolmen .
