Landéda ( Breton Landeda ) is a French commune in north-western Brittany in the Finistère department with 3578 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017). It is located almost directly on the Atlantic coast on a peninsula between Aber Benoît and Aber Wrac'h .
The municipality also includes the island of Guennoc with megalithic structures and the port of Aber Wrac'h , which is located on an arm of the sea with an impressive tidal range .

Landéda is 22 kilometers north of Brest and about 500 kilometers west of Paris . The closest parishes are Saint-Pabu in the west, Plouguerneau in the northeast and Lannilis in the southeast.

At Brest there are the next exits on the expressways E 50 towards Rennes and E 60 towards Nantes .
Brest train station is the terminus of regional train lines and the TGV Atlantique to Paris. From 1898 to 1940 there was a narrow-gauge railway that branched off from the Brest - Saint-Pol-de-Léon line in Plabennec , and ran via Lannilis to Landéda and on to the port of Aber Wrac'h . As early as 1931 it was decided to replace it with bus transport.
The regional airport Aéroport de Brest Bretagne is located 18 kilometers southeast of the municipality near Brest .
