Goulven ( Breton Goulc'hen ) is a French commune in the Finistère department with 446 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017).

geography

Goulven is located in the northwest of Brittany directly on the coast of the English Channel . The river Flèche runs along the eastern border of the municipality and flows into the bay of Goulven.

Lesneven is 7 kilometers south, Brest 30 kilometers southwest and Paris about 480 kilometers east.

In Landerneau and Brest are the next departures of the highway E 50 ( Rennes -Brest) and regional stations on the railway line Brest-Rennes and Brest- Nantes .

The Aéroport de Brest Bretagne regional airport is located 22 km southwest of the municipality.
