Ruins of Trémazan Castle

history

The Du Castel family (Du Chatel, today Duchâtel) ruled the place for centuries from the Trémazan castle. The municipality historically belongs to the area Nieder-Leon (French Bas-Léon, Bret. Goueled-Leon) in the north-west of Brittany.
