Milizac-Guipronvel is a commune in the French department of Finistère in Brittany . It belongs to the canton of Saint-Renan in the Arrondissement of Brest . It was created as Commune nouvelle with effect from January 1, 2017 by merging the previous municipalities of Milizac and Guipronvel by a decree of June 25, 2016. Guipronvel is the main town (chief lieu). Milizac-Guinprovel borders in the northwest on Tréouergat , in the north on Plouguin , in the northeast on Coat-Méal , in the east on Bourg-Blanc, in the south-east with Brest and Bohars , in the south with Guilers , in the south-west with Saint-Renan and in the west with Lanrivoaré .
